She began to play the piano at the age of 8 taking private lessons with Rana Erksan . Her first piano teacher was State Artist Gülsin Onay,who taught at the İstanbul State Conservatory. After she had graduated from M.S.G.S.U. State Conservatory’s Master Section,with a high degree from Prof.Metin Öğüt’s class , Ms. Demirci received three scholarships . By DAAD Scholarship she went to Germany and studied with Prof.B.Ebert at the Hannover Musikhochschule. She continued her study with Prof.C.Vickers in Essen Folkwang Musikhochshule . She graduated from “Konzert-Examen” in 1998.

Ms. Demirci took composition lessons from the famous Turkish composer C.R.Rey.During her Master, she worked private with composer and piano pedagogue Ali Darmar during private lessons. In 1986 she received the Lion Club scholarship and attended summer courses at the Mozarteum Academy in the classes of Prof.P. Lang and Prof.T.Nikolaijewa. She studied with P.Stein, A.Schönberg’s assistant at “The New Viennese School Seminar” in Essen.

In 1988 she won the 3.’th prize in the 8. National Piano Competition. She took part in “Troja Music Festival” in 1993 , in “Spektakel Festival”in Münster in 1996 and C. R . Rey International Piano Festival” in İstanbul in 1998 .

She gave concerts with Essen University Orchestra and with some of the Turkish State Orchestras.In 2001 she gave a very successful concert in Turkish Ambassy in Tokyo. In 2005 she played the Piano Concerto of C.C. Saens No.2 Op. 22 with “George Enescu Philarmonic Orchestra” in Bucharest. She recorded solo and also chamber music on radio and television programs . In 2006 Ms. Demirci played in the 34.’th International İstanbul Music Festival .In 2007 she played with Bilkent Symphony Orchestra and in May 2007 she gave a recital in Mozarteum Academy in Salzburg.

Her CD’s “Piano Sonare” and “85 Years Following The Keys” have been released by “Lila Music Company”. Besides her concert activities, wich include many recitals in C. R. R, AKM, Aksanat , İzmirsanat, ODTU, YTU , GSU, Ms. Demirci is still teaching as Professor at M.S.G.S.U. State Conservatory in İstanbul.
